Preconception Counseling

Our physicians can help you make informed decisions about conception. Schedule an appointment with our office, if you are ready to experience motherhood. We look forward to plan a healthy pregnancy for you and guide you through the wonderful journey of becoming a mother.

At your preconception appointment, our providers will also review your ethnic background, family history, discuss do’s and dont’s of conception: Maintaining a healthy weight, healthy diet etc. Understanding Ovulation, chronic health conditions (if any) history of prior pregnancies and health risks.

Delivery preparation – What to expect

During the final weeks of the pregnancy you will be scheduled for OB visits more often (Please review Prenatal Appointment timetable). Our office will register you for induction at Good Sam hospital. Our staff will inform you of the date and time.

OB Care for Would be Mothers

Our mission at Midwest Women OBGYN is to provide expectant mothers the best Prenatal and Postnatal experience. Just like every child is different so is every pregnancy. Whether it is your first pregnancy or repeat; our staff and physicians will be with you at every step taking care of your emotional and physical health needs.

Please review the Prenatal appointment timetable, usually followed for all normal pregnancies. We encourage all our OB patients to take an opportunity to see all our physicians during OB visits, since one of them would be helping you deliver a beautiful life in this world. Our physicians will be able to answer all your questions and perform periodic checks for expectant mothers during these visits. Although most pregnancies progress without problems, but some might have complications and required specialized OB care. Our office is equipped with experienced physicians to take care of high risk pregnancies.

In addition, you can contact our experienced and compassionate Triage Nurses with clinical questions through user friendly patient portal and phone, in between your OB appointments. We are all standing by to answer all the questions which come along with pregnancy. Our friendly staff will make you feel pampered throughout your special journey to motherhood.

All OB patients are given the OB Packet. This packet is full of information about each stage of pregnancy and much more. Please review and keep it handy throughout your pregnancy.

Postpartum care

Patients will get detailed instructions after delivery regarding postpartum care. We encourage all patients to schedule a postpartum appointment within 4-6 weeks after delivery. This visit is a part of OB care and covered under Insurance if scheduled within 4-6 weeks.
